Chadwick Boseman as per his bio in a wiki, was born on November 29, 1976, in Anderson, South Carolina, US. Chadwick Boseman was born to a nurse, Carolyn, and upholstery business owner, Leroy Boseman. He did his schooling from T.L. Hanna High School from which he graduated in 1995. He then attended Howard University in Washington, DC, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of fine arts in directing in 2000. He is graduated from British American Drama Academy, Oxford.

Boseman since the very early childhood was keen to try his hands on direction so he started learning acting precisely. In 2008, Boseman moved away from New York to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.

Chadwick Boseman made his acting debut on NBC’s crime drama series ‘Third Watch’ in 2003. In the following year, he appeared in the episodes of series such as CSI: NY, ER, Law & Order, and Lincoln Heights. He also began working as a script writer for Deep Azure which was performed in Congo Square Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois.

In 2008, Boseman appeared in Gary Fleder’s film ‘The Express’. The movie failed to hit the mark and Boseman continued his televisions role, his first was on NBC series ‘Persons Unknown’ in 2010.

Later that year, Boseman acted in multiple television series including ‘Castle’, ‘Fringe’, and ‘Justified’.

Boseman was unable to create a wow impact on audience until he got the lead role of Jackie Robinson in 2013 movie 42. The movie was a success in terms of box office and received positive reviews from critics. Director Brian Helgeland cast him for the movie when Boseman was directing an off-Broadway play in East Village and had further decided to leave acting and focused on Directing.

Chadwick Boseman also acted in the indie film ‘The Kill Hole’.  In 2014, Boseman starred in two films: Ivan Reitman, ‘Draft Day’ and James Brown, ‘Get on Up’. The movies were highly praised by the critics.
