He did his schooling from T.L. Hanna High School from which he graduated in 1995. He then attended Howard University in Washington, DC, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of fine arts in directing in 2000. He is graduated from British American Drama Academy, Oxford.

Chadwick Boseman also acted in the indie film ‘The Kill Hole’.  In 2014, Boseman starred in two films: Ivan Reitman, ‘Draft Day’ and James Brown, ‘Get on Up’. The movies were highly praised by the critics.

Director Anthony Ruso offered Bosemam the role of Black Panther in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ which proved to be a turning point in his career.  The movie grossed $1.153 billion in the box office and was a huge hit.
