Christina Brown was hired by MSNBC and NBC as their host for the show “Early Today.” She had joined MSNBC in the July of 2007 but before finding work at MSNBC, she worked at KTNV, in Las Vegas, Nevada as an anchor and reporter.

She served at the United States Air Forces and worked as a military broadcaster for two years. Her job was to report from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan to the American Forces Network. After returning to the United States as a veteran, she joined Air Force Television News as an anchor and reporter.

Then she moved on to an NBC affiliate KTSM at El Paso, Texas, from where she reported on military and justice affairs at KTSM.

Brown has been honored with many prestigious awards including an Emmy, a Texas Associated Press first place award for spot news coverage and the Air Force Commendation Medal from the United States Air Force.
