Talking about David's bio, she was born in London, the United Kingdom in 1973. Although she belongs to a family originally from Sri Lanka, David was born and raised in London.
She attended the James Allen’s Girls’ School in Dulwich, South London and later pursued a degree in Economics at the Downing College, Cambridge.
Professional Life
David started her career in broadcasting as an economics correspondent at BBC in 2000. While at BBC, David had to work on national BBC1 Bulletins, BBC News 24, and on the network’s international counterpart BBC World.
She has also worked as the presenter for BBC’s current affaris series Panorama, BBC One news and BBC Radio. BBC also appointed David as the presenter for New York Business in the July of 2006 and World Business Report from New York. She was given the responsibility to cover the emergence of the credit crunch from Wall Street.
David was hired by Sky News in September 2009 as their economics correspondent and she went on to present business news bulletins and programs at the network. Some of her programs in which she has presented include Jeff Randall Live, Business Live, and Sky News Tonight with Adam Boulton.
David published her first book “The Almighty Dollar” – a guide to how the global economy really works – in the February of 2018.
