Personal Life
The gorgeous Helen Dalley was born in 1957 in Australia. For her education, she attended the University of Sydney. She graduated from college with a Bachelor in Arts degree with Honors in French.
While Dalley was in the United States for business purpose, she attended the Columbia University and did a brief, intensive business journalism course and returned back to Australia in 1983.
Unfortunately, Dalley’s childhood and early life are still a mystery to the media. She has not revealed or provided any clues regarding the identities of her family members and her relationship status. Well, maybe well know soon enough in the future.
Professional Life
Dalley started her professional life from print media. Starting from 1979, Dalley started freelancing articles, including stories featuring sports for a weekly newspaper, which is now defunct, the National Times.
Later, she went on the work at The Australian Women’s Weekly, and was sent to New York by Australian Consolidated Press. She worked at New York for two years writing the Weekly, Cleo and Australian Business. She also worked with Packer’s Australian Business magazine for three years after which she joined Business Sunday.
Nine Network hired Dalley as the network’s reporter for Business Sunday in 1986 and later she was also assigned to the regular Sunday program. She has also hosted numerous programs on Nine Network including Sunday, Today, A Current Affair and Today on Sunday. Dalley has also served as a reporter for Sunday and occasionally filled in for Jana Wendt. She was available to cover the Federal Election.
Currently, Dalley is working for Sky News Australia. Dalley was a part of the team which was involved in the expansion of the business programming, while she was a news presenter on the Sky News Business Channel. She also handled the role of co-host on Sky News’ coverage of the 2007 Australian Federal election, 2008 Federal Budget night coverage and 2010 Australian Federan Election.
Dalley started working as a presenter on National News Sunday on Sky News Australia from the February of 2012 and from May 2016, she began presenting News Now with Helen Dalley, a two hour program, on weekday mornings.
Dalley was awarded with a United Nations Media Peace Award in 1994, for her brilliant work in the Eddie Mabo story. Later in 2002, she received a Media Peace Award commendation as well.
She was honored with the Michael Daley Award for Excellence in Science and Technology Journalism in 1996, for her coverage of the story on the information superhighway. She has also won a Walkley Award, which was awarded to her in 1999.

Dalley, despite being a numerous-award-winning journalist, doesn’t have a social media profile quite as big as other journalists of her caliber.
She is available on Twitter at @helen_dalley and has only around 1300 followers. She had joined the site on November 2014 and has tweeted around 3000 times until now.
