Jim Furyk

To talk about his personal life biography, Jim has already got married. He is married to his wife Tabitha. The couple exchanged their vows with each other in the year 2000 and since then, they are living their life happily so there is very less chance for them to get a divorce.

Jim and Tabitha also have two children together. Apart from that, Jim has now reached at the age of 45 and he weights 84 kg. He stands taller at the height of six feet and two inches.

Jim reached at the career high of 2nd in Official World Golf Rankings in September of 2006.

Jim spent his early years in the Pittsburgh suburbs where he learned the game from his father who was at that time, the head pro at the Uniontown Country Club.

He went to study at the Manheim Township High School that is located in Lancaster Country and got graduated from there in the year 1988.  

While his time there, he played the basketball in addition to being the state champion golfer. In his junior year, he played the golf at the Media Heights Golf Club just South of Lancaster City. Additionally, he also played the college golf at the University of Arizona located in Tucson. While there, he was an All American two times as well as he had also led Wildcats to their first and only NCAA Title in 1992.

It was in the year 1992 when he turned professional. He then won NIKE Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic on Nike Tour the following year. In 1994, he joined PGA Tour and also one at least a tournament in each year between 1998 and 2003. During that time, that was the second-best streak of the winning seasons behind the Tiger Woods and Jim made the Top Ten in Official World Golf Rankings.

His biggest win till date came on 16th June of the year 2003 when he tied the record for lowest 72 hole score in the history of U.S. Open for winning his first major championships. In the year 2004, he only played in 14 events after missing the three months because of his surgery to repair the cartilage damage in his wrist. Till date, he has got a total of 27 professional wins.

He has also participated in some of the majors such as Master Tournament, PGA Championship, The Open Championship and U.S. Open.
