Katherine Downes

The gorgeous Katherine Downes came into this world on 1982. Unfortunately, not much information is available on Downes early life and educational background. Similarly, the identities of her family members are also yet to be disclosed.

However personal Downes might be, we do know that the lucky person who got to tie the marital knot with her was none other than Tim Sleap. They got married on the 1st of June in 2013 at All Hallows Church at Sutton-on-the-Forest neat York.

For the wedding, Downes had chosen her bride’s dress from the top voted dress among the five dresses that she had given her readers at Brides magazine to choose from.

Katherine Downes, who is currently in her late 30s. has worked with some of the biggest news stations in the world in her career. One of them was BBC South East, where she was able to win the Best Newcomer award in 2010 at the Royal Television Society Southern Centre Awards, for the impressive works she was able to achieve in only a year after working at the station.

Downes later went on to work at BBC Sport in 2012 after it had been moved to Salford. Prior to this, in 2011, Downes had been working at BBC South East Today as the program’s reporter and an occasional presenter. She was also working as the correspondent on BBC Breakfast and the BBC News Channel, where she was assigned to cover and report various major news stories.

Downes is quite popular on the social networking site Twitter. She had joined the site back in the June of 2011 and has managed to gather around 7.5 thousand followers.
