Krista Voda

Voda celebrates her birthday on the 31st of May and was born in Clinton, Iowa in United States of America in 1974. She came into this world as the daughter of Sue Voda and Richard Voda and spent her childhood in the place where she was born. She was raised alongside her brother Scott Voda and sister Kim Ottens.

For her education, Voda went to the University of Northern Iowa and graduated after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Business communication. As a child, Voda was very fond of playing sports like Basketball, Volleyball and many more.

Voda got married with her longtime boyfried Philip “PK” Kelly, who is an independent contractor for sports television. The couple has been married for over 5 years now and they currently reside in Iowa.

Voda started her career in sports journalism by joining the NASCAR broadcasting team in 2003 where she was assigned to the position of co-anchor on the Fox Sports Net show Totally NASCAR. She has also served as the co-host on the show NASCAR Nation when Speed Channel were airing the show.

Voda has worked with many local television stations, mostly located in Iowa and Kentucky, in her career. One of those stations includes an NBC affiliated stationed at Lexington, WLEX. She has also served at a radio station, KROS AM/FM, located in her hometown of Clinton, Iowa.

After this, Voda was hired to work at FSN. Voda has managed to work at not only NASCAR, but also has successfully covered college football, the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship, the Kentucky Derby, the World Series, the PGA Championship, and even the National Football League.

Voda is an inspiration to many young sports journalists who are just beginning their journey. She has made hundreds and thousands of fans and followers all over the worlds and even on social media her reach extends far and wide.
