Laura Rutledge

Laura Rutledge, born as Laura McKeeman, celebrates her birthday on the 2nd of October and was born in St. Petersburg, Florida in United States of America in 1988.

According to Rutledge, she had wanted to become a marine biologist when she was in elementary school. But after her family shifted from their hometown to Atlanta, Georgia, Rutledge’s focus also shifted towards geography and meteorology. She learned to dance during her time at her high school.

Although she had initially wanted to attend a ballet school but later decided to study broadcast journalism in the University of Florida.

Rutledge tied the marital knot with a professional basketball player, Josh Rutledge, in 2013.

Rutledge began her journey in journalism by working as a sideline reporter at Fox Sports and was assigned to cover Tampa Bay Rays games.

It was during this that she had entered the beauty pageant contest and came out on top of everyone else.  Later, she was moved to the Fox College Sports department and got the opportunity of covering the NCPA’s 2012 National Paintball Championship at Lakeland, Florida.

Rutledge has also covered the San Diego Padres games. After observing and admiring her talent, skills, and her irresistible charm, she was hired by ESPN and the SEC Network in the summer of 2014. She was appointed as the host of the Coors Light PostGame show on Fox College Football in 2014 and in the same year, she had also hosted the halftime programming for FSN college football games.

Prior to these, Rutledge had also managed to host “Chargers Insider” in 2013 for the San Diego Chargers.

Rutledge is currently working as the producer and host of a show that Rutledge herself began at Fox Sports San Diego – SDLive.
