Lorna Dunkley, 46, was born on 23rd February 1972. Her birthplace is Cirencester, Gloucestershire and when she was only six months old her family shifted to Cornwall- place where she spent her childhood.
She graduated from University of South Wales (then University of Glamorgan) in Communication Studies. Further, for post-graduation she went to University College Falmouth.
Gorgeous Dunkley has been married to Brad Higgins, lead SOSV investment partner, since 2000. The loving couple is blessed with two children. Both of them are sons named James and Ollie.
Professional life
After finishing her graduation, Lorna initiated her career as a researcher in ITV Westcountry in Plymouth. She then switched as a reporter, covering then hot issues like Devon road protests and the environmentalist Swampy's eight –day –long underground protests.
In the year 2002, Dunkley joined Sky News and prior to this she was seen as a freelancer. She worked as a reporter for Sky News Sunrise, Sky News Today and Sky News at Ten. In corresponding to Steve Dixon, Mark Longhurst and Chris Roberts, she appeared in weekend presenting line-up in SKY News Sunrise. After a round of job cuts Dunkley left Sky News in 2016. Her greatest achievement till date is winner tittle if BT Young Journalist of the Year.
