Michele Tafoya

Michele Tafoya who is an American sportscaster has been a reporter for the NBC Sports since the year 2011. In addition to that, she has also been featured as the sideline reporter for the NBC Sunday Night Football. She is the native of Manhattan Beach, California.

She came into this world on 17th December of the year 1964 which has now made her reach at the age of 51. She has been active in this field since 1993 and from that time onward, she has got succeed as well as garnered a huge number of fans following. She is a tall lady with the height of five feet and seven inches.

Michele went to get her education from the University of California, Berkeley from where she received a B.A. in the mass communications in the year 1988. After that, she got enrolled at the University of Southern California and did her masters in the business administration in 1991.

She then started to work as a host as well as a reporter for the KFAN-AM in the Minneapolis primarily for the Minnesota Vikings as well as University of Minnesota Women’s Basketball Broadcasts. She had also worked for the WAQS-AM in the Charlotte. There, she went by name Mickey Conley.

Additionally, she also worked for Midwest Sports Channel where she served as Minnesota Timberwolves host and the sideline reporter and a play-by-play commentator for the Women’s Big Ten Basketball and Volleyball.

It was in September of the year 1994 when Michele joined the CBS Sports as a reporter as well as a host for CBS Television Network’s sports anthology show known as CBS Sports Spectacular and the college basketball coverage.

Later in 1996, she made a history at the CBS when she became the first woman to call TV play-by-play pf an NCAA tournament game. After that, she joined the ESPN and the ABC Sports in January of 2000. on 4th May of 2011, she was announced as a new sideline reporter for the NBC Sunday Night Football.

Michele is a married woman. She is married to her husband named Mark Vandersall. The couple tied their knot with each other in 2000 and since then, they are living their blissful life. After few years of their marriage, she gave birth to their first child in November of 2005. Later, they also adopted a baby girl after more than a couple of years.
